Seen by women, in a space set apart

Every consultation in the wing is with a female doctor or midwife. Examinations take place behind closed doors, and you decide who stays in the room with you.

Husbands, mothers and mothers-in-law are welcome, and there is shaded seating in the courtyard for family members who prefer to wait outside.

Questions

What mothers often ask

Can I always see a female doctor?

Yes. A female doctor is on duty every day we are open, and all consultations in the women and children wing are with female staff.

Are routine vaccines free?

Vaccines on the national schedule are given free of charge. Optional vaccines, such as typhoid or chickenpox, are charged at the prices shown at reception.

Can my husband join the consultation?

Yes, if you wish. Some women prefer a few minutes alone with the doctor first, and we always ask you before anyone else comes in.

Do you deliver babies?

We do not have a labour ward. We follow your pregnancy with regular checks and help you plan delivery at the hospital you choose, such as Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital or Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, sending your notes ahead.

How much does an antenatal check cost?

The booking visit, including routine blood tests and a first scan, is ₦45,000. Follow-up antenatal checks are ₦10,000 each, with further scans and tests charged separately.
